SouthPark is located at the corners of Sharon and Fairview roads about six miles south of center city Charlotte.  SouthPark once part of a 3,000-acre farm owned by N.C. Gov. Cameron Morrison. Maersk, Bank of America Mortgage, First Citizens Bank, and CSX have major divisional operations located in SouthPark.
